Your Queer Officers are here to ensure that all queer-identifying and questioning students feel comfortable on campus, whilst creating a safe community of support for these students.
We aim to represent and encourage awareness of diverse sexual, romantic and gender minorities by running activities on campus to celebrate events such as IDAHOBIT Day and National Coming Out Day. We support each other by providing personal experience and by putting you in contact with other organisations and communities. We also provide The Queer Lounge, which allows you to meet like-minded individuals in an autonomous and safe space where you know you’ll be respected.
