Alumni Relations Mentor of the Year

This is awarded to the Club mentor who has gone above and beyond in providing support and assistance to Clubs with concerns throughout the year. This award is sponsored by Alumni Relations.

The winner is: Harvey Bishop from Student Life

"Harvey is a very dedicated and encouraging person. He always guides us and gives us a lot of valuable opinion and support. Moreover, he is always trying his best to join our event and even our O-week table. Besides, Harvey also provides leadership training for the current leader and potential leader to make sure student life's long term growth and development. For example, we have a leadership training on every Sunday and leadership retreat every semester. We can always consult him no matter what happen in our club or our personal life, he is always the person we can talk to. We are so blessed to have Harvey as our Club mentor who is supportive, caring and loving!"

"Although he has a busy and full everyday schedule working in Bendigo and Ballarat, he is still willing to come to Caulfield everyday for mentoring us and patiently helping us encountering problem in running the clubs."

"He has a genuine heart to help mentoring people in the club not only in a group form but also mentoring individually (one to one meeting), which would take alot of his time and energy."

"Maybe we could say that a young and energeitc person could take all these. However, for a person at his age, which is not that young anymore, we could see that it would take not only braveness and boldness to take this role, but also importantly passion to do it. Sometimes, we are just worried for his health to keep on doing this."
